How much is too much for a gallon of gas?

Gas prices have fallen, but it’s still might pricey to tank up this Fourth of July holiday. Which brings up a good question: How much would you pay for a gallon of gas? California Watch did an informal survey and got an interesting sampling from around the country. With an estimate of $15 a gallon as the “true cost of gasoline,” a surprising 20 percent said they’d pay as much as $10. Habits would change, however. People said they’d drive less or buy an EV. And some lamented the lack of public transit options. [Read more --California Watch].
