East Bay wants to attract, keep clean tech

East Bay communities are banding together to find ways to attract and keep clean-tech businesses. The region is a great incubator of ideas but sometimes struggles to keep companies local as they grow, says the Greater East Bay Innovation Alliance. The group will focus on streamlining the permitting process and help companies group purchase solar power so they have the leverage to negotiate better rates.
