It may be a brutal budget this year, but California Gov. Jerry Brown just signed a bill that expands tax incentives for solar power projects. The bill, introduced by San Mateo Assembly member Jerry Hill, allows solar power systems sold in sale-leaseback arrangements to be excluded from tax rate reassessment.
