It appears San Francisco Supervisor John Avalo has decided to side with environmentalists on the fate of Sharp Park Golf Course. Sharp Park will simply not be able to exist in a 5-10 year timeframe. It will cost the city of San Francisco TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars to protect it from sea level rise, and millions more to renovate it:

Sharp Park is underused, is a huge economic burden to the city of San Francisco, and on top of it all…it helps kill two endangered species which share Sharp Park.
Sharp Park cannot ever be sustained, it is too costly, both environmentally, and economically.
