San Francisco’s new mayor, Ed Lee, thinks MUNI service in the city is just fine. In an outline of his priorities on Tuesday, the interim mayor said the beleaguered transit agency is “well on it’s way to improvement,” despite an on-time performance rate that dropped to 72 percent last quarter from a previous high of 75 percent.
