The Sierra snowpack is at 108 percent normal for this time of year, according to measurements of the state’s frozen water supply. Though that sounds good, if a drop-off in precipitation that began last month continues, due to the La Niña weather pattern, all that could change. Modest rainfall is forecast for this weekend and there are no big storms in sight.
