So, I just returned from Boston where most days I was wearing a long, down jacket and a Russian-style hat with ear flaps. I thought maybe the sudden transition back to sunny Bay Area weather would explain why when I left the airport I quickly wished I was wearing shorts rather than two sweaters and a coat. But no, that had little to do with it. Today the thermometer in San Francisco has reached 83 and it’s only 2:15 pm.
That exceeds historical normal temps for November 15 in the city by more than 20 degrees. And beats the last record breaking temp in 2008 by 4 degrees.
To quote Charlie Brown, who I’m looking forward to reuniting with shortly during all the upcoming holiday TV specials, “Good grief.”
